I'm not sure why but since I subscribed to The Third Rail it's been crickets. Are you not posting any longer? If not, why not? I think you are right that workers' struggles have been not only suppressed but also obscured through a focus on race conflict instead of class conflict. What's needed is a sense of solidarity among all oppressed people everywhere on the planet. Showing how ALL workers are (and have been in the past) engaged in a struggle for survival against the rich is essential if we are to pass the kind of legislation (equitable/sustainable rationing, taxation and trade agreements and NO MORE WARS) that is urgently needed if we are to save the global poor from extinction. There's little doubt that a conspiracy exists to allow climate change to accelerate a mass human-die-off. The French president's action against immigration is yet another sign that no political party in any "democratic" country is going to protect the poor. Only by raising awareness among the global have-nots of how this die-off strategy is being conducted (and how distractions like Trump/Biden and racism and so on are used to keep everyone's attentions elsewhere) will we be able to organize any sort of organized movement against the elite class.
